The relevant material selection is extremely responsible task and is related to long-term spring operation
The used material are according to the following standards:
EN 10270 – 1 from high-carbon steel
- Quality SM – for static and medium load
- Quality SH – for static and high load
- Quality DM – for dynamic and medium load
- Quality DH - for dynamic and high load
EN 10270 –2 by CrSi and CrV steels
- Heat treated in oil
- Type of steel CrSi – FD - for important functions of the spring and its long term usage
- CrSi – VD – for important functions of the spring and its long term usage for dynamic load. 100% micro cracks defectoscopy.
- CrSiV – FD - for important functions of the spring and its long term usage – for operating under temperature of 100-250 C deg.
